Week of Oct. 1

Please continue to have your first grader read and practice math (addition and subtraction facts) for 30 minutes each day. The reading minutes, as well as the title of the book, should be recorded on the log to be turned in. The sight words for the first quarter were also sent home for students to practice reading and spelling. Please practice addition and subtraction facts as well. Reading A-Z and Reflex Math may be used to practice reading and math on the computer. Thank you for helping with this homework!

As a reminder, students in first grade may check out library books during our reading rotations so students may return books whenever they are ready to exchange for new ones. Please continue to send in a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.

If you have not had the opportunity, please go to the PTA website https://colonialtrailpta.membershiptoolkit.com/home and create an account. You can then join the PTA and view lots of information about planned events. The PTA does so many wonderful things to support our school; we appreciate your support!
