7th District Congressional Show Winner

Congratulations to the 7th District Congressional Art Show 1st place Winner Caitlyn Le from Hermitage HS. Mike O’Neal’s student will have her piece on display at the National Capitol for one year. Also, Henrico HS student Katie Hennessee (Art Teacher- Tanya Rogish) was named Honorable Mention. WAY TO GO HCPS ART TEAM!

Congrats to Gretchen Marr’s student Sheha Mure from Tucker HS! Her piece won the VSBA Southside Region, which means it will be on display in the State Superintendent’s office for one year. Way to go!

Congrats to Julz Suder and the Carver ES team! Partners in the Arts (PIA) recently announced that their Maker Space: Exploring Creativity proposal has earned a $5,000 Engaging Creative Thinkers Award for the 2016-17 school year.
