The GED® test is now Digital!
Beginning January 2, 2014, the new 2014 GED® test took effect. The new assessment measures high school equivalency skills and assesses career and college readiness. The test is computer-based and includes the following subjects:
- Reasoning through Language Arts
- Social Studies
Registration for the 2014 GED® test is available on-line only. The cost of the test is $120 for the complete test battery or $30 for each individual subject.
Where can I test? The Henrico Adult Education Center located at 201 E. Nine Mile Rd. in Highland Springs serves as an authorized location to deliver the 2014 GED® test. The testing lab is open Monday thru Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (last test ends by 8:30 p.m.) and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (last test ends by 3:30 p.m.) On-line pre-registration is required.
