Accounting provides an introduction to the basic principles and concepts of the accounting cycle and governing financial practices. Students develop fundamental accounting skills, including recording and analyzing transactions, using manual procedures and electronic systems. Accounting serves as a good base for students seeking higher education or entry- level work in the business world and is a critical element for self-employment. This is an Online course, which means the course will be taught online. Face-to-face time will also be offered periodically to personalize instruction and assist students as needed.
