Accounting introduces the basic principles and concepts of the accounting cycle and governing financial practices. Students develop fundamental accounting skills, including recording and analyzing transactions, using manual procedures and electronic spreadsheets. Accounting serves as a good base for students seeking higher education or entry-level work in the business world and is a critical element for self-employment.This is an online course; face-to-face time will be offered periodically to personalize instruction and assist students as needed. Completion of Part 1 and Part 2 will give the student the knowledge they need to take the NOCTI Certification Exam.
